JORDANS NEW MAKEOVER

The entire range of Jordan's muesli cereal has recently been completely redesigned and launched in the supermarkets. The rest of the Jordan collection will be redesigned this year. The new packaging has a much more modern appeal, the logo has also been simplified to give a more modern touch. The aim of the new branding is to "focus on taste and present a 'unified identity' following an expansion to the range". Heres the old packaging, so you can see that significant improvements have been made.

Oh this is nice, it seems the best way to smarten up the packaging design for food is to focus on a nice sleek simple bit of typography an a few simple colours. This has been happening a lot recently the ditching of the cheesy soft focus photos of food for type, and i like it.

I agree, this is a step in the right direction, not only will the packaging stand out on busy supemarket shelfs but it also makes it very easy for sustomers to identify which flavour they where looking for - you dont have to get up close to read them.
